And make sure that crankshaft (when you reassemble the block) is centered. If it's stiff,there are 2 things that might cause it:
1. It had drifted either to the right or to the left during the assembly. Then there is friction between it and crankcase. Fix for that is really easy - tip tap with the rubber mullet from the protruding sides to center it. If I were you I would take an extra step of caution and put a bolt on the crankshaft before tapping it (bolt it on until the surfaces are level). That way you definitely won't damage any threads.
2. Those rubber oil seals might create friction. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just make sure you put them in correctly and evenly. You can apply a little bit of lubricant on the inner contact points, where rubber meets the shaft. Once you put in the oil seal from CVTs' side, it will be a pain in the ass to take it out without damaging it. You got one shot at this.
If you do everything by the instructions, the engine will work. 2 strokes are really, and I mean REALLY simple machines. That leaves a very little margin for error.
