The BUNNY has a kit that meets my needs except removing the stock oil pump (SEE BELOW) Polini Sport 70 This iron cylinder has the angled Minarelli Style exhaust port but doesn't appear to be machined for the CPI/Keeway/Vento stock oil pump. It could be required to remove it in this case.
Can I grind the casting to accommodate the factory oil pump? Has anyone done it?

I haven't done this myself but would have no hesitation doing so. Grind on.

Or throw away the factory pump and premix.

Or throw away the factory pump and premix. That's just a lot of work. I don’t trust factory pumps with oversized cylinders. They meter volume/rpm, not volume/volume. Once you’ve increased your bike’s fuel consumption with a kit/carb/pipe how do you know it’s pumping enough oil? Some kits, Polini Corsa for one, ask for 3% mix. How do you adjust your factory pump for that? I’ve seized one engine due to oil starvation and don’t want to risk it again. Pouring a spot of oil in when I fill up isn’t that big a deal. It'd be an expensive doohickey I’m sure but someone should come up with a dual fuel/oil pump that meters one to the other.

Haha! Premix is work? I have rid myself of shit working oil pumps since 1975. Better and more consistent performance by far. What do you view as "work"? Math? Your mobile phone won't make a mistake. Sorry brother, but simple is less work and less pain.

€ No problem on sport cylinders. It was a Malossi sport cylinder, Technigas Next R, stock upjetted carb combo that seized from oil starvation on me. Temps were fine, plug looked fine, top of the cylinder and head looked fine. Had four solid scores down the sides, and on disassembly realized the main bearings were picking up a lot of slop.

That's unfortunate. I have good experience with the standard oil pump and big bore. Malossi sport altso in fact. Combined with Giannelli Go. Run it WOT for miles and miles.

Anything above stock go pre mix. Guarantee that the cylinder is getting the lubrication it needs. Stock pumps aren't known to fail but, there also not known for supplying more oil to a cylinder that revs higher and needs it.

here is the answer. Clearance your bbk for the pump. It is a good idea to add more oil to the cylinder, but you have a couple options there. You can go premix, or you can add oil to the gas and still use the pump. I know of guys who've added an oz of oil the the fuel tank and still ran the pump. If the pump is attached to the throttle, you can ziptie the pump to 'full open" so it gives a little more oil. You can also do nothing, and just use the OEM oil pump set up. But, You may burn up your cylinder faster.

It may not be much work, but it is more work than just pulling up to the pump and filling up.
