Did the title say Honda .? No. Like I said in a previous post, the title said DAFU on the make and it was blank on the model. I actually said that out loud to him as I was looking the title over, but it just did not click with me at that moment. I was too busy verifying the VIN and the name on the title to his drivers license. I never even knew there were clones of the HELIX. Like they say, there is a sucker born every minute. Lol!

That sucks to hear about your Helix scam. I too have been guilty of after sunset purchases on CL, various online marketplaces but fortunately have never been “duped” (yet). It’s a shame because even though the young man may have seemed like a real straight shooter, you can never judge a book by its cover. It was a mistake on his posting ad perhaps? Either way... but yes indeed there are some Helix knock-offs and what’s up with that name? Is it “Piss-Ass” or Pizazz? It seems the Chinese will clone just about ANYTHING nowadays without a trademark law in that country.Maybe find a replacement fairing to help with the sale if you wish to sell it, it will surely speed up the sale. Good luck (and stick with the 2Ts!!)

If it was this side of the pond I would buy it for sure. Never tried shipping scooters from the state's imagine not that easy or cheap.

If it’s still in his name go rack up some parking tickets, about $250 worth. Best idea yet
Make sure it does not get towed so that he gets it back and scams someone else.

I was about to call an acquaintance of mine to come get this load of poo, but then I got an idea It has a clean title, it is a motorcycle, I might be able to transplant a 2T into it. Specifically a Kymco SC10 motor,Honda AF16 clone. I decided to strip her down and see what she looked like naked. I took great joy in stripping this thing, most everything that came off of it went straight to the dumpster. There was a lot of bull$h!tery found behind the panels, including a wasp nest. The wasps got me then I scratched scratched my arm up trying to use a screwdriver to get the wasps off LOL! It may not ever happen but it will stay right where it is until I scrap it or build it.

You definitely don't hear of many people taking out a 250 to swap in a 50. It sure wouldn't make the best drag racer, but it could be a heck of a 2T touring bike with that long frame, cushy seat and big gas tank. You could get some short handlebars and move the front of a seat mount forward more. Then get a long seat and a long running board on each side and you may be able to take the whole family out to cruise on one scoot.
