What style headlight is your bike. A lot of the 1e40qmb bikes came with dual headlights like the Keeways and Yamatis. Vento and QJ usually have a single housing almost identical to a Gilera Runner if you’ve ever seen on. On my first 1e40qmb, a Yamati RX8i, I had similar issues. When RPMS went up,the lighting front, rear and turn signals all became intermittent. The only thing on these style bikes that goes hot when you turn the key is the fuel gauge. Pretty much everything is running off the stator even the tail/brake light which I don’t believe is the safest. It ended up being a ground for the rectifier. I replaced it and my issue was gone. Hope this helps.

i only bring up the other "incidents" because there were a few i almost stepped in and defended you when it seemed like some were being rude to you but it wasnt my business so i stayed out. when i was young i used to have a sharp tongue aswell but i hope that the years will make you wiser and youll realize were only trying to help. i was a mechanic for years and it was my job to notice problems issues and come up with solutions to problems on a daily basis and once again my years of skills and knowledge along with other members helped you figure out your issue. and you didnt have to pay the normal 100-120 dollar an hour going rate of my services.
if youd prefer i wont chime in next time you have a question or comment or issue since my kind gestures seem to bother you. or if you would prefer i can send you my paypal info and you can pay me and then you can talk to me however you like and we can have a good ole time back and forth. many of the customers we had at the shop would come by just to trash talk for a bit because sometimes it can be a good bit of fun and make a bad day (aka a $20,000 repair bill) have something to smile about.
at the end of the day man were all friends here this is a community and were just trying to keep eacother on 2 wheels sometimes 3 with the wind in our hair and the rest of traffic at our backs. i would suggest taking 90gt's advice though hes a great guy and helped make this forum the great place that it is/was and without him and a handful of others this forum wouldnt be the place i call scooter home. i checked the other forums they were a joke and the help on them is nonexistent most of the time there was alot of head scratching and give ups for simple things. id suggest sticking around but ive seen where suggestions get me sometimes. take care and stay safe on that thing there are alot worse people than me on the road and some of them see us on bikes as a moving target/speed bump.
