OK so anyone who knows me knows that I have A liquid cooled Mina l9ngcase , Long story short was going on my usual time you wear it started to like butter kind of felt like maybe it was getting intermittent spark. I tried everything I could think of the more I wrote it the worse it got finally lasted I took off the fly wheel noticed that one of the stater coils had its three wire broken and another coil had brushes have broken. This is almost definitely due to the fact that my steel plate got loose somehow last week and I noticed that maybe a little bit too late anyways it was still ridingexcellent And this problem at first it was not too noticeable and quickly got a lot worse like I said I change the CVI I made sure all the wires were good I made sure that was spark. But even though it would start up on first kick and as a matter fact would rather nicely while under no load that made me think of variator but that wasn’t the issue anyways I hope to God that it is the state or played with the coil and Pickup I noticed last second if anyone else has ever experienced this or has any idea what this may be other than the stater please enlighten me I am stopped for the first time in a long time

Brah!? Da faka broke already? allkine anykine problems eh. das why I went tell you go slow, no rush da build. da kine parts you get, not too much room for error.
for real though, serious kine, you have to proofread your post. after you type it out, read it aloud to yourself. your words and punctuation are a trip. even I get hard time undastand um. no shame, read um aloud before you post um. if it sounds awkward to you while you reading it aloud, garans-ball-barans da ting going sound funny kine to the rest of the people reading um. I get hard time undastand da full contex of what you trying for say.
I would say, pull your spark plug and inspect it. check it to see if get moisture. in fact, you might as well replace the plug while you at it. make sure the spark plug cap engages properly/snugly onto the spark plug. if you get the plastic type spark plug cap that requires the spark plug nipple to be removed, you might want to change it out to an NGK rubber one, which doesn't require you to remove the nipple. it actually holds better too. gotta start somewhere, might as well change out the plug to see if you get coolant leaking into the combustion chamber. fix your wires too. if you know that a wire got disconnected from the stator, fix it first. and what are these "brushes" and the "steel plate" thing you speak of. post some pics of what you are referring to. so hard to understand what you referring to. fix the simple things first.

When you put the new CDI on. Did you space the pickup correctly. It should be close to the flywheel. But not touching the strip on the outside.

Okay try about typos sorry I’m using voice to text and it always gets f up. Let me clarify and no reph. It’s not broke already.... it will start up just fine but when I give it throttle it will just break up and stutters sort off won’t really go anywhere seems to smoke more making me think a gasket leaking water into combustion chamber like you said. I’ve tried a new plug what I mean by the stator was that one of the leads off a coil was broken plus two of the coils were broken as well, I think this is why the lights would sketch out recently. It started very mildly but suddenly and got worse over a few miles until it was pretty noticeable and pulled over checked connections and intake but all seemed fine it felt like it was runnnin extremely rich is the best way I can explain it. I checked the carb. Seeemed O.K. I even bought a polini 360 manifold from the one guy who was trying to help me fix it all day. I since have also changed the stator and magneto from the same exact model of moped. I noticed the stator plate was pretty loose today when I check Ed on it would start. But now would actually die if I gave it throttle at first. No extreme amount of smoke though I got a new plug and ignition coil I’m going to get it replaced and if that don’t work thN it’s clearly not electrical. Hope that clears it up.

Okay so I finally figured out what the problem was. I knew it was ignition related I had changed the entire ignition system except for coil but what happened was the woodruff key on crank arm was grounded down and came off I put on a new key and 💥 boom she go.

And I did replace the stater but the coil’s that were damaged on that previous one were only affecting my lights not ignition but it’s good to have lights again that don’t come on and off Cheee.

glad you got it solved. its hard to see those little guys on these scoots and easy to mess something up. you wouldnt believe how many times ive seen a diy'er do that on a car or truck and there is alot more space and pigger pieces to see what your doing. i bet it runs better now that timing is right too.

Howled means without breath 808ministroke, I was just poking at you about "faka broke". thanks for switching away from voice text. it makes a big difference. Ha'ole - is with out breath. I don't think he meant it as Howly, as full on without breath, but as in English (language). go smash so Honda elites now! I'm happy for you that you solved the problem. I was just hoping that it wasn't totally damaged because of all the work and effort that you put into it. that would be shitty.

For sure If it had stopped starting or ran super hot 🥵 but I knew that t was with the iggy, guess that’s why everyone has suggested an inner rotor kit . I want one but I still am not convinced it is the best use of three hundred dollars. I can’t see it producing more usable horsepower than a bad ass pipe or an overange cvt . If I am wrong then please let me know what you think. I have put maybe two hundred miles on this block before the key 🔑 is ground down but it is a two dollar peice. I’m convinced that the exhaust or the cvt will give me problems beforehand the iggy again. Also overse what size jet are u using on this kit anyone? Mj size is 115 and power jet is cut off I’m thinking of dropping it to a 112, using no air filter just a bell mouth.

Haha! Guys...no harm meant in my language ignorance...Nice! Ha'ole is a term that I have heard thousands of times from my colleagues in the Great State. I thought it meant me. Main-lander, round eye...In my early career, I was a data geek, confuzer operator and analyst.
I worked for the Hawaiian firm Computab, based in Honolulu. Crazy fun and enlightening...but never, ever stepped foot on the rock. Every state visited, except Maine and Hawaii.
I still laugh...Tourists in the 70's think "mahalo" means garbage can. Hehe!
I was connected with a former Hono Fire Chief. Edward Soong, SR. At age 70 Ed senior married a smokin' hot 28+/- year old. Sooo many stories.

I was connected with a former Hono Fire Chief. Edward Soong, SR. At age 70 Ed senior married a smokin' hot 28+/- year old. Sooo many stories. that's pretty cool thaigyro. I hope that one day, you are able to set foot on Hawaii. a lot of travelers can feel their souls at ease when they spend time here. Ha'ole originated from where Captain James Cook "discovered" Hawaii. prior to that, Hawaiians greeted each other with a Honi. the Honi is a greeting where 2 people touch noses together and inhale and exhale together. it's a greeting in which booth people share Ha. Ha, is "the Breath of Life". it was also a means of transferring Mana (energy/power). when Captain Cook arrived, he was not familiar with the Hawaiian greeting of the Honi. he greeted the Hawaiians with a handshake, which was not familiar to the Hawaiians. "ole" means no or without. Ha, is the Breath of Life. so we use Ha'ole as a reference to white people. for me, Ha'ole is also an attitude. it's a selfish attitude in which you only care for yourself. no care for others around you, no care for the land or environment. the "it's all about Me" attitude. there are white people here that are not you typical Ha'ole. yes they are white, but they don't act like the mainland folks. they understand and respect the Hawaiian culture. my girlfriend is white, but a lot of her good friends are Hawaiian. I seen her show up to a party and all of her native Hawaiian friends yelled out in excitement of her presence, "the Professor!!!" one of her best friends is native Hawaiian. Hawaii is simple: you cool, we cool. skin color don't really matter here. respect and attitude is what matters, not skin color.

Super nice history! Just a hop...a few skips and a big pond jump from here. I get your color history. Senseless. My manager was born there, but Portugese/Hawaiian. The programming manager born there...Japanese. My good buddy ops guy was Korean.
The senior Soongs were Guamanian immigrants, post WWII. Ed juniors wife, however, was native through and through. She could cook, man could she cook!
