Does anyone have any advice on how to find a mechanic to work on a 1986 honda spree in Nashville TN?

You’re likely better off learning to do it yourself. Mechanic rates will quickly outstrip the worth of the bike.
Don’t fret though. That’s what sites like this are for; helping each other out!

Welcome to the forum. I'm sure there is someone on here with the knowledge to help you fix, whatever's the problem. Put a post up in the two stroke section. These things are not so hard to work on with a few simple tools.
