Just bought a 2018 Zuma 50. I did not realize that it did not have a kick start. The manual says that if I have to charge the battery, I should use a Constant Voltage Battery Charger....They say not to use a regular battery charger as it could damage the battery. Could not locate the type of charger they recommend. Comments please, Thx, Jim

Just get a battery tender . I do have a battery tender, and will put it on my new Zuma but wondering how I can recharge another spare battery....will my smart charger harm the battery if I attempt to recharge it.

I just alternate one battery tender between my 3 scoots through the winter. I have used the battery tender overnight to charge . I have not used a smart charger.

I just bought a small booster pack, which is a little larger than a cell phone, which will start my scoot as well as 4 wheelers..great if I or others need a boost, as a boost from a regular 12 v battery can damage the scoot battery and it will be carried with me while on the road.

Yes. I have one of those jump-starter handheld battery things, too. They're impressive, arent' they?
But one thing it will not do for you is to top off a battery that is losing charge by sitting during the winter. And that is important. So I'd get a Battery Tender as well. Batteries that sit in a discharged state for very long suffer damage.
