We haven't had that CDI in a while, was a very low seller actually. Have you had it in reserve? Haha I've been wanting to use that CDI as well, but now I'm AC so it doesn't even matter. Glad you have a good CDI now.

Try flipping the reeds over - sometimes they get that little bend formed to them and if you flip them they can help seal. I sell an aftermarket intake that actually has reed "springs" to push them back down. www.partsforscooters.com/169-125_Minarelli_CF_IntakeIf you look close you can see a little metal tab going down the middle of the reed pedal - those are the "closers".

Yeah, that's kind of what I did. I had an old reed block with a busted bikt hike, and dug it out, cabbaged the petals and flipped over. Sealed. Finally. I do believe I will need to get a piston kit, but at that point... Why go back to 40mm, when I could go bigger? I was actually wanting to keep it stock for a bit, but let's be honest, why bother!

HOLY SH!T!!!!!!!
One of the Razzes is a MoFo VARIATED vertical. I hadn't even bought about looking at them til I got rained out if work today. I thought the drive cover was thick, and nearly shat myself. Pulled the cove and found a very out of shape Vari. But it IS variated!!
That opens some window of hope that I can do something with it! I mean I can use the weight of my finger to pull the belt down in the back of the CVT, but I don't care. I can fix that, and I mod that bike. I'm so damned excited.
Any suggestions or tips for vertical performance? I've never even seen one if these, belt or gear drive, but now I'm happy to own both.....
SEND HELP....

Should still be able to use any Minarelli variator as long as the splines match up (should be 17t). As for the cylinder: SSP-G Cast IronPolini CorsaA nice pipe: Polini Team 3So there is stuff out there to hop it up a lil... hehe

For some odd reason I am really pumped to see its not a normal Razz. From what little I can tell they were all gear driven. Maybe its a swap, or maybe its stick and I'm a dumb ass. Idk. I do know its got me happy in a strange way. I flat geeked out when I noticed...hahah My luck, the parts for these will be twice the price as the horizontal. Never looked, never had a reason. Was just gonna get em going and get em gone. Now I see potential for fun. Maybe. Its IDD little engine, there's some type of something protruding from under the starter toward the front, with two bolts holding it. Raining and nasty out so didn't stick around long. Am just oddly happy about this discovery.....

Wow 120 lb with A corsa and a pipe = A Razz Rocket
Any Kit would work with that light of scoot Look what Birdmans elite can do
Vertical minnareli prebug parts are not much more than Bug Eye .
You will probably have to Mod a Bracket for a pipe

I was lied to, the CVT motor is not in a Razz, but the plastics of a Razz are on it. The motor mount is different, the one the CVT motor is in, is a lost cause due to the wire harness, its been cut to shit. So, Imma MAKE a CVT Razz. If I can figure out the mounts. Just different enough that the mount of the Razz hits the pipe. Idk, I've about went postal today and this is honestly the hellish cheese on the shit taco that is my life...

My dumb a$$ didn't stop and think about using the the bracket that was in the CV engine. It worked. So....yeah. Its in, wires spliced, and it has spark. Lowish compression, not sure on the exact #'s but its under 100, that's where this cheapo gauge starts, and the needle won't move. But it does have fire, it is in the frame, and even not running its already faster than it was....

Wow you work fast. Low compression is just begging for a 70 cc upgrade .

Wow you work fast. Low compression is just begging for a 70 cc upgrade . That's true. Sad, but true. I was only fooling with these two cuz the ETon needs parts ordered, was hoping to have something running. Eh. Its too cold now anyway, spring means better hours and more money. Just sucks cuz I could use so ething to do during the slow months Edited to add that the wiring was all simple and straight forward. All the same colors, same wires, just different ends. The one wire that was a different color, was white/red and white/green. Since the rest if the loom matched, I figured it would too. I'm not so sure this Razz, Jog abomination is going to fit me. I sat on the little fella, and thought I heard it scream. Damn its little. But that means light, and light means the stock 4.5hp CG "should" send it pretty well, and even better when I can afford to add some CCs. Thinking of names now. Razzbomination comes to mind, or Jazz, maybe Hog. I'd like to see the looks on peoples faces when I, big dude, long hair, tatts, known temper, call this little fella my Hog....should be almost priceless..

You could work in stages First cheap fix Shave the head like we talked about in other thread to fix the compression . Theses razz have only 6.3 to 1 compression ratio compared to the stock jogs and zumas that run above 7 to 1. So the compression reading are on the low end anyways. After you get it running you can see if it is solid enough to upgrade it or dump it .
