please post pictures of the engine....with the date and time stamp on the camera turned on. also take a piece of notebook paper and with a black sharpie and make a sign that says your screen name, 49ccscoot.com and the date and time.

Here is why. A new member came on here and advertised a motor like this awhile back. he got the money...but the motor never came. this person posted this same motor on may other forums too. so prove to us you are on the level here

1FASTQMB, if you aren't sure you want to deal with stretchedscoot then don't... but please don't call him a scammer unless you have proof and ruin the chance of a sale for someone that could be a reputable seller. I'm not saying stretchedscoot is or isnt' on the level. I have no idea and advise everyone to use the classifieds at their own risk. He hasn't done anything wrong though, so there's no need to call him a scammer.

The fact is, I could post a pic of my engine with a sign and all the info you want... then still take your money and never send the engine I showed you. The main reason I think most people would like a pic is to see for sure what they would be buying. I have seen people call short cases long cases and things like that. Nice to see condition as well, exactly what's included, that sort of thing. I think a pic would make it an easier sale, but it's not required.

Research your options with buyer protection should something go wrong and decide if the seller and the payment method make you feel comfortable. If not, just bow out and let someone else take the risk if they choose to.
