does anyone have a good spec for the spark plug gap on a minarelli ? spec for ordinary and iridum plugs will be nice. i've been told and tried using a 1mm then went back to the factory spec of the plug.
I set mine to .028" which is roughly 0.7mm. Be careful gapping iridium plugs. If you have to open the gap you need to use something that pulls the ground electrode rather than wedging something in to pry it apart or you can damage the iridium tip.
lol I've heard a lot of those. Can of compression and that sorta thing. The one that amazed me was my father told a young guy to run to the hardware store and get "sky hooks". The guy asked what they were and my father told him you throw them up in the sky and they hook up there, then you can use them to hoist things or whatever. He actually went and asked for that. I can understand believing some of the things if you are new to mechanic work, but hooks that you throw up in the air and they magically hook into the sky?

Fox: It's really just a place to ask a quick question without having to create a whole new thread topic for something simple like spark plug gap or whatever but the members have to look at it a lot so the question is answered promptly.

Fox: The insert image feature and smileys are something I have never seen in a shout box before so that's pretty cool.

Fox: I just realized that there is a character limit of around 200

Senna1Rossi: Ah, gotcha! Thanks, Fox. Does everyone see the Shoutbox, or just the people who you choose?

Fox: Anyone who is logged in can see it but it's down at the bottom so most have either chosen to ignore it or haven't discovered it yet.
