Hey guys I have it figured out 11pole 3 phase stator on a 50cc 4t . I have a little twist you can do 6 or 7 pin regulator . It you need to auto energize something like head lights when the engine is running go with the 7pin . If your running fuel injection use the 6pin or take the 7pin and don't use the white wire .

Interested. I don't really need the power ATM, but I'm always interested in scooter mods.

More details may lead to more interest. Cost ballpark, how tough is the conversion, etc... Just a thought.

the conversion is simple 3 yellows from the new stator connect to the new regulator green to green then to the negative battery , black and red from the regulator to the black and red to the ignition switch , white to the enrichener . The trickiest part is the headlight , connect the yellow lighting wire to 12vdc it can be connected to the key switch or a relay . I would go with a relay not to tax the key switch . As far as cost I try to keep that to PM's but since you asked . If you have a 6pole stator you will need a magneto/flywheel about $100 for stator magneto and regulator . If you have 8pole stator about $75 . www.testedscooterparts.com/product_info.php?cPath=462&products_id=21475784Guys I will stay with you before during and after this project . John

Thanks for the info. Doesn't sound too bad for anyone that can do a little wiring work with instruction. So the 8 pole flywheel will fit the 11 pole stator? Interesting. It's something I'll keep in mind for the future.

John,
What is the power output per phase and combined? either in watts or amps? Is the V per phase in spec for the manufacturer specs of 43 to 54 Vac per phase? if not what is the Vac per phase?
Is this the highest power output that will fit a gy6 50cc? or is there anything more powerful that can be installed?

John, What is the power output per phase and combined? either in watts or amps? Is the V per phase in spec for the manufacturer specs of 43 to 54 Vac per phase? if not what is the Vac per phase? Is this the highest power output that will fit a gy6 50cc? or is there anything more powerful that can be installed? Bull , as with most Chinese parts there are no manufacturer spec's . I based my testing on DC output and I was able to hold a 125 Watt load and the charging voltage was 13.3vdc . If your asking about acv in an effort to power some lights it will not work . The 3 phase system the regulator will load down the acv to regulate the dc output . Its not uncommon to get a voltage reading of 7 or 8 vac on the stator output wires when running and connected to the regulator . I'm not aware of other setups besides 6 or 8 pole setups . I have seen some floating ground mods with some other type regulator . I have not worked on or done any testing with the floating ground mod . This can be used for DC ignition and AC ignition or convert vise versa . John
