Just cleaned my carb for the 1st time and now I can't get the vacuum lines back. It starts, gets fuel, but it runs like crap with every configuration I can think of. 1st this carb has 3 jets, they look like jets, it has to be a stock Mikuni. but I can't find any info on this one.
So here's where it's at... I have a line coming from the EGR Canister ( I think it is ) A line coming from the fuel pump I'm sure it's a vac line since the fuel line is going into the right carb nipple. A nipple on the Accelerator Pump on the Carb 2 nipples on the Intake Manifold
Thanks for any help YellowBaron

Ignore the red circle, this was how the lines ran when I still had the emissions stuff. Sorry it's a small picture.

Ok, it looks like the Line from the EGR Canister goes to a Intake nipple, and a Line from the Fuel Pump goes to a Intake Nipple, but where does the Line from thje Accelerator Pump run? I'm out of Nipples! YellowBaron

Well, if you look close, the EGR goes to the vacuum pump, then from the pump into a T that goes to the manifold, and the carborator.

Once again thank you Goosey... I think I got it... But this is odd as there was no "T", I know I never took one off. But looking close as you said, in your photo, I do see the "T" and sure enough I need it. Now how did they get this thing to run with out it? Can this type of Gas Tank "Between the Feet" be converted to a Manual Petcock System. This bike seems to be Vacuum Dependent to the Max. Nothing depends on Gravity YellowBaron

I don't think a manual petcock will work without the gravity, if the tank is below the carb. I havn't had a problem with vacuum pump though. I am not in a place where inspections are done though, and pulled the emission stuff out after a vacuum leek in the hose connecting that canister. It was an uphill scooter push that day.

I hope it was a shallow hill Yeah I kinda figured I couldn't do the Petcock thing.. But Yes this pump really gushes. Can't believe the local Auto Parts store didn't have gas lines or much of anything fuel related. So Off the find the "T" tomarrow. Thanks for the help Goosey. YellowBaron
