Looking great. Sad thing is I'm going to use his old brake stuff to upgrade my Eton because the stock disc is so small on it.

No divorce. Went out to Colorado for 5 weeks and that changed somethings. I guess spending too much time in the garage is better than being 2k miles away. Thanks man.

That along with the 12 inch wheels will make a nice upgrade Moofus.

Got the forks and brakes done. Took a ride and there is a good improvement. It rides a little lower in the front. Maybe an inch or so which I like the looks of. Everything upfront being new I was a little hesitant to thrash on it but it feels good. And it looks awesome. Here's a look. Next on to the frame support and rear shock.

Looks badass! I'm interested to hear what you think of the front brake upgrade. The frame brace should improve it farther. A friend with a 150cc powered Triton lookalike and I rode after I did mine and swapped scoots a couple of times. Both of us were surprised at how much different it felt with the brace vs his scoot without. Yours should be sweet once you get it all together and really start riding it how you want.

Thanks Brent. I got the brace on last night. Have to cut the seat bucket. Then I'll test some more. I can say the brake is an improvement in that I did a nice smokey burnout in front of the wife without it trying to push the front wheel. Lol. I'm not into stunting because because I'm to old now but I could do stoppies now. It's got good feel to it. Not overly sensitive but very sure if you follow me.

Got the bucket cut. I'll have to clean it up a bit after work. It was a little early to be grinding with the dremel. Going to take it to work and see how it feels. I should look petty cool in in slacks and a pressed shirt on this thing. Maybe I should mod a retro for a commuter. Lol

I got a thumb up from a guy in a pickup with a ktm quad in the back and racing stickers on the truck. That felt pretty good.

Got the rear shock on and again I'm impressed with the parts I got. It's raining though and a wet ride wouldn't be much good for a test. I had to cut on the undertail a little so the schrader valve on the shock could clear. It feels good sitting on it. While I was sitting on it bouncing around I jammed in the front breaks and now they are dragging a little. What can I do to fix that?

Hey fraserd, I did get some riding in. Nothing real long but everything feels good. Much better than the stock parts. I came up to my turn for my street a little hot and the brakes were excellent, the forks didn't dive down and there was no flex in the frame. I haven't done any adjusting on the rear shock. I don't have a shock pump ATM but it feels good. I'm only 140lbs so I could probably lighten it up a bit. All in all I'm very pleased with the performance, price, quality and style of the parts. Welcome aboard. Dave
