I have seen this in other places and I thought it would be interesting to create a map where members could add their locations if they wish. If you aren't comfortable pinpointing your address [/IMG] , mark an area or a town center. Don't forget to add your username to your pin. 49ccScoot.Com Member MapHow To Add Yourself To The Member MapClick the link above to go to the member map. You must be signed into a Google account in order to mark your location. Locate yourself on the map, then click on the marker button. A marker will appear. Drag it to the location you wish to mark and click. A box will appear where you can enter your username and other info. Once you have entered your info, click "OK". You have now created your marker on the 49ccScoot.Com Member Map! Make sure you click the Save link. Then click Done. Otherwise you may end up moving other members around in Edit mode.

I just went and selected to allow anyone to edit the map. I think it should work now. Sorry about that.

I can tell this pic is a few years old. My whole front yard is still grassless from when i had to dig it up. And my neighbors that drove that car dont live there anymore. I cant figure it out, maybe later. Im a slowhead today....

I created a photo tutorial on a random location in the first post to help anyone having trouble marking the map.
My photo is also old. That's Bob's (used to post here) blue F150 in my driveway. He hasn't had that for a couple of years now I guess.

Thanks for adding yourself Reg. I edited your link and put your username as the title. It makes it easier to find each other that way.

Street view amazed me the first time I saw it. 100% up to date or not, the whole satellite/street thing is really cool.

Thats kinda creapy ! You just see me looking in your window Reg? Whatever you saw me doing, posting it here will probably violate forum rules against lewd and disgusting content. And, oh yeah, watch out for that big wasps' nest above your head. ;D I found it strange that my Ranger was not in the back drive. I'd say that over the last two years that it would be there 99% of the time.

Thanks for the tutorial. Us computer illiterates need all the help we can get. Speaking of that, I think I screwed up stepthrutuner's marker info somehow. I apologize. It'll never happen again. The good news is he can edit it as many times as he wants so he can fix it back. Maybe you need to make it so we can only edit our own info if there's a way. I really have no clue how I messed steps up but it says it was last updated by frana33 which is me. Weird... Sorry Step.

I wish it would allow us to only edit our own stuff. It's either only I can edit or anyone can from what I can tell. That's why I added in the tutorial to be sure to hit done when you finish marking your spot. Then you can't move stuff around while exploring.

Right. Well I figured out that I was looking at stepthru's marker and hit the edit button thinking I was editing my info. OOPS!
I sent him a PM so he knows about it. He'll fix it.
