hey guys. i have a 50cc roketa scooter. it's fairly new only 650 miles on it.
recently it has been giving me a problem. when i ride it at full throttle the engine loses power for like a split second or two and then gets back in gear. it feels like it randomly switches to a lower gear and then comes back up. its the same feeling of going full speed and letting go of the gas. so it kinda jerks me forward since im not expecting it. this only started happening a day ago so i really dont want to ride it and mess it up even more. any ideas what may be causing this and what i should do? thanks guys.

Check the fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel lines. Kinda sounds like gas isn't keeping up with the engine. Also check the float level in the carb. Might be adjusted too low and running sorta dry.
If the fuel checks out, it might be the coil or CDI.

If it happened just after a fill up, you could have got bad gas. Make sure all of the fuel and vacuum connections are secure and no hoses are cracked.

You could have something wrong with the carb needle check to see if the slide is fully retracting smoothly.
