So today I got a 2007 tgb r50x from my brother it needs some farings piece and a few other things but other then that it's pretty solid, any who I found a tgb mechanic down I southern md that is gonna diagnose my key west next Saturday and see why she ain't running right he has alot of experience with tgb so I figured what the hell and let him fix it,everything is stock except the 17.5 mm carb and the Mrp pipe I'm running a 75 m.j and I'm at sea level and also I bought some iso heet too put in gas too get any water out that was in there

I've herd those mrp pipes can run rich till the pipe hits and then lean out. A 75 mj sounds on the lean side with a 19mm carb at sea level with a 50cc Cylinder kit

It might be fine just make sure it isn't lean once it hits.

Didn't want to start a new thread do u think fixing up the tgb r50x that I just got from my brother would be worth fixing it needs a new back tire a carb and it's not getting no spark?I know sometimes when a scooter doesn't get spark it could be alot of things

Probably not. Want to sell it?

If the parts are interchangeable you may be able to swap from your scoot to that one to see if you can find the cause of no-spark easier and without putting out any money.

I was kidding btw. If it were me I'd fix it and then sell it unless you want two scoots.

I'm up in the air about getting rid of it I like the look of the r50x better and the bigger wheels and the r50 has better gearing and another question is the morini engine on these able to be converted to liquid cooled??Here is link where I found stuff that possibly might work it doesn't include the cylinder head they sell that separate I'm wondering if I can find these parts in the u.s I know I will need the radiator and hoses and pump among other things this is what I was thinking of doing on the tgb r50x and sell it for a nice profit!!! www.scooterpartsxl.com/cilinder-motoforce-suzuki-en-aprilia-sr-met-morini-50cc-lc2007 tgb key west, with motoforce 50cc replacement cylinder head &piston,Mrp racing pipe and 19mm carb and a small tachometer!!!!

So I plug chopped and sparkplug is slightly wet adjust at screw in a 1\2 turn no change throttle still sticks at 2200 -2300 rpm and after I stop it settles down about 5 seconds later here is video of me riding on it at that point it wasn't doing it...
