Thanks for the info once again i,I also just ordered the naraku twist torque control for my key west I've heard good things about it that along with the mrp vari should be a good combination once I get it all tuned up,might in the future bump up too a 70cc kit once I see where these additions get me!!!

Hey "vert" have you ever used that hoca performance intake that partsforscooters sells I was also thinking of getting that too open my intake a little bigger stock intake is extremely restrictive and small,also I want too get rid of those metal reeds!!!

I have used the giant performance intake for the minarelli. Not actually the Hoca, but seems to be exactly the same as it and some other performance intakes sold. It's just too big for me till I move up to big carbs like 28mm. I just don't think the huge intake will do any favors for setups using more standard sized carbs. Plus for the minarelli the reed block with it won't fit into the cases usually without clearance work because of the screws holding the reeds in the block.

Had a question my throttle is still hanging when I let off,I'm running the 85 m.j with the needle setting at "1" spot down from the top and I'm like 3 turns out can't seem to get it too clear up,should I drop the needle setting down too the middle also checked the slide for rough marks but all is good there also running stock airbox with snorkel restriction removed so that I get more air flow,she still is running good just can't seem to correct the throttle coming back down after I let off!!!!

If it's just RPM hanging, it needs more fuel either from a richer needle setting or idle mixture/pilot or you have an air leak somewhere. If the cable is not returning, then you need to inspect the cable, throttle, slide, and needle.
