Sonia got the Scorpion pipe last night. Swapped cylinders and pistons too, as I had a stock piston that I cut the windows open and the same with the lower cylinder ports on a spare stock cylinder. More flow. Installed a single ring only on the piston as well. I pulled the cylinder studs out of the case to be able to do the work without dropping the engine, but when I reassembled they felt loose. Like I can spin them by finger. Upon reinstall everything snugged down just fine though. I did 3 base gaskets and no head gasket in attempt to raise the ports just a hair and still maintain good squish.
Now me being me, I didn't measure anything nor take photos... derp. I was in a rush because I saw rain clouds rolling in, which did get me but only a little bit. I'm a driveway mechanic, gotta get it done somehow! Was able to throw a cover over everything and in 5 minutes it was done, ground barely wet. Hardest part of the job was getting the piston circlip out, the one facing the scooter.
Fired up almost instantly with the choke and the electric start. Idled for a few, warmed up and took off. She feels even more powerful! Lots of more go go for sure, she revs higher and keeps pulling... all with the stock 20/20 carb and filter and bellow. I gotta check the plug still but it feels great.
EDIT: Here's a quick video I made riding to work this morning...

Replaced the vacuum pipe from the tank, to the carb, on the slider. Had to remove the tank to do it. Not a hard job though. Wanted to remove the restriction from the variator on the typhoon. It had a couple of security bolts in the cover. Never seen this style before. Like an allen head, but shaped like a house! That didn't stop me. But this did! I know up to last year, it was a removable ring. It's a shame as the Piaggio variator is quite good. Another unexpected purchase coming up! Lol

First test ride with Hondaki LT50 reverse tricycle. Scary experience. Goes straight fine, but turning wasn't easy. Who would have guessed? . Carb needs serious tuning.

A machine shop should be able to mount that in a lathe and turn it to size in a few minutes also.

Realised my helmet won't fit under the seat. It's not even a large helmet, small size Arai. Was so looking forward to having somewhere to put my lid again.
