I jetted WAY too lean on my 93cc qmb... couldn't get past 40mph on my way to work this morning. Had just installed all 8g weights too, so I thought maybe too heavy. Swapped to 8/6g mix and SAME low power feeling.
Yesterday I wanted to play around with jetting, thought I was at 102 main but it was 105 and barely lean. Went to 108, felt a power increase, wanted to jump to 110 but couldn't find it, only 112. 112 was too big, sputtery at WOT so I popped a stock jet back in (102) and didn't test drive it.
Now this morning, I do the first run, then swap the weights, and run outta time. Half way to work I think, maybe if I raise the needle I can add a lil more fuel. Was at top notch, went 4 notches lower and it was so sputtery and rich but I had no time to readjust it and just rode to work all choppy. Lucky it's only 1.6 miles.
Gonna pop the 108 back in and call it good, hopefully I'll have enough time at lunch...

Short ride: Did some civic duty and picked up trash I have walked by from the bus stop for weeks. Issue of the front wheel not spinning freely last ride? maybe my imagination. Just don't ride enough.
All good.

Yesterday was an unseasonably warm day, and we had no work to do so my buddy got his Harley out and I got the 103 out and we rode for a couple hours. First we rode down the blvd by the ocean and it was pretty cold for the way we were dressed, so we moved inland. What a difference in the temp 1/2 mile away from the water made! The 103cc Kymco is running great, I am so happy with this build! Thanks again EVERYONE that helped me with this motor! I have come to the conclusion that I don't really need a motor any more than this, I mean 60-65 is PLENTY fast for a scoot with a 300lb+ payload and I am not really interested in going much faster on this scoot or any other "moped" for that matter. This does not mean that I wont be building the other motors in my sig, someday.

There are prolly 250+ sitting loosely in a bin waiting to be packaged up... not the best QC but not the end of the world for the piston either. At least you are keen enough to clean it up the best you can!

Well I put a secondary gear kit in bee wee 100cc stock but it was to much for it to push was a little better top end but loss of down low wasnt worth the trade off,I tryed just useing half the kit but gears wouldnt line up enough for me to trust slipping well jumping I should say but I changed cvt to all after market parts and I now get better top end and great pick up with stock gearing tryed a pipe change but just goes to show with out bbk you just cant do to much to them thought I may get away with gear kit as 100cc has great torque poor top end but that can be changed lol so happy I've sorted it out to run a bit harder will do 100km when I tuck down ok for what it is have a 9 port kit for it to but going to keep tame this time

More performance parts would of made it a great platform for tuning. I know here it is much easier to make a 50cc Aerox faster than the 100cc model. 😕

I put gas in 2 of my 3 running scooters today. Rode each one of them, as well. When I get home from work I'm riding the third (:

After tearing up my hand holding the clutch while using an impact on it I decided to make the home brew version of the Stage6 clutch bell holder. I like that you can turn plain metal into something useful. I make a lot of my own scooter tools. If Stage6 would supply stickers with their parts I’d slap one on here but they like nice packaging instead.

Polished Django with old style wax and buffed it up nicely with rag. Put it away in the garage now rain has stopped. Then took rat fink for a spin and went well with smaller jet in got back and noticed the gasket on new carb is leaking where I rushed the job. So more damn work on that and its on ebay at moment for sale. So found 4 spare carbs and 2 have the right gasket will be on case tomorrow. Wifey not happy as spend more time on that than with her this week.

Test rode T2 and some crazy @#$% came out of a side road without even looking in my direction or stopping at a stop sign. I was really close to her, but luckily I was slowed down because I was getting ready to turn in there. I would have hit her for sure if the circumstances or timing were just a little different. I do assume people are crazy, but I didn't actually assume she would just roll out. Big dude, neon yellow wheels, bright headlight, turn signal on... but you can't see me if you're too lazy or stupid to look both ways. I always watch these road rage vids and wonder why people bother to chase someone down to tell them they're an idiot... but I considered it for a split second today.

We get plenty of Timothy and Tabitha tosspot's round here with their supped up shopping trolley on wheels and they give you the finger when they do something wrong. They love to pose round the town and then come out late at night on the single track roads like asshats. Saw one of there cars today upside down on it's roof about 20ft in a field after going through a hedge with a 10ft drop. Hopefully no one was hurt. Quite a few have been killed but none seem to learn. A few years ago a mate of mine got pissed of with them whizzing past his house so they could take off on the brow of the hill so when he heard them coming he put cinder blocks in the road. They never returned again
