I just realized when I installed a manual petcock/fuel valve that I put the fuel filter between it and the gas tank. However, I realized in Brent's video he did this opposite and I screwed it up. Is this order negligible or do I need to change it ?

I failed. Just installed my new carb from scrappy dog scooters and now it won't start is there something I'm supposed to do after reattaching everything to get the engine to fire up now?

Something is making me think it isn't getting fuel. I could visibly see fuel flowing to the carb and I believe I have everything installed correctly. Gas tank is full as well! GF is going to kill me

See if you have gas in the carb. Maybe float stuck?

I undid the clamps on the manifold and air intake and moved the carb around a little bit and some gas started to leak out so I feel like there's gas getting into the carb but maybe there's not any gas getting into the float bowl? How do I get gas into the float bowl?

when you installed the manual petcock, if you removed the stock vacuum actuated petcock, did you block off the vacuum port on your intake man. where the line used to go to the petcock?

Yessir, it is covered with a cap. ok. dunno if you ziptied it, good to make sure is tight tight. check for places may be sucking air. check rubber manifold/boots for tears, and snug fit. both on carb side, and engine side. if worried engine flooded, pull plug and let set with plug out for a bit, clean plug while out, etc. when reinstall plug, double check cap to plug connection. make sure ground wires are tight. if carb has accelerator pump, twisting throttle twice before/while cranking will toss some fuel in if there is fuel in carb. fuel air spark. you'll get it

Pull the spark plug out. Is it wet? Maybe you flooded it. Got spark?

I'm going to check the spark plug when I get back home. Will the spark plug still be wet if I flooded it after an hour of leaving it be ?
