First time in 6 years. Couple days ago wife went for a 4 hour ride no problem. 50cc stock carb and airbox 80mj zx pipe. When I drilled the plug on the a/f screw the drill grabbed and seated the screw hard. Damaged something so it either hangs rpm being lean or loads up and quites from being rich no middle ground so I live with the rich idle. I'm used to a rich sputter so I cracked the throttle it started first kick started loading up have it some gas and took off about 200 yards I opened it up to clean it out and it quit. I don't know what is going on but it is running the bowl dry. Limped it back and took the car. Now I need to find time to figure out what is plugged up. Junk in the fuel I'm sure

Crud in fuel I think didn't have time to check but it was getting worse by the time I got it back to the garage. Glad it did it leaving instead of half way to work

I consider the Eton trouble free but it needs attention every now and then. Other than a flat tire I've had to do nothing but gas and oil to the zuma. She was gone for 4 hours and it only took about a quart of gas so God knows where she got gas for it

Had a few to look at it between rounds tank is spotless clean along with the screen. Time to pull enough plastic to get to the carb. Must be a plugged mj. Really it acts like a Rev limiter

Doubt it when you sent the af screw all the way in you damaged either the screw the seat or both My bet is its the damaged af screw and seat

Strange that it would run all those miles with the af screw that way and have an issue with it now.

Yes the af screw is messed up rich or lean no middle ground. Been like that for 6 years. I'm going to clean the carb and check hoses and fuel flow. Something changed fast just got to find out what
