Just installed an airsal bbk and upgraded all the springs in the clutch now im having trouble compressing the 2k spring down to install the belt. Does anything one know any tricks to get this compressed or an easier way of putting the belt on since there alot of tension on the spring. I would try clamps but im afraid they might slip off and i already almost cut my thumb off ouch. Thanks guys

Easiest way to deal with a spring that stiff in most cases is to take it out and put in a softer one IMO. This is why I don't generally recommend a 2K spring. They tend to be way stiffer than needed and make all CVT work a headache... handache.
Sometimes rotating the pulley will make it slightly easier to compress. If you service it when hot (wear gloves) it's easier to deal with stiff springs. Are you taking the belt completely out of the rear pulley so you can get a good grip on it? I've had really stiff setups (or just servicing the clutch/TD) where I took the rear pulley off, stuck the belt in the variator, squeezed the rear pulley open and looped the belt into the center of it and slid the assembly onto the primary drive shaft. Makes it much easier when you can get a good grip on the pulley without the belt in the way at first.

for the contra spring i put a foot on each side and push down then i can get the big nut started on the threads, be careful and duck if your feet slip off. to open pulley for belt i get a big pair of pliers and a rag, put rag on pulley and then pliers, there is enough leverage to get the belt to go on, the rag prevents the pulley from scratching. 2000rpm springs are very hard on the belt, i shredded a gates powerlink, it is best to use a bando. i like the 1500rpm springs better, easier to work with and plenty of torque.
