Been having probs with my scooter cranking but not wanting to run finally noticed that a gas line is realllll close to a spring so now i'm thinking my heavy butt is pushing down the spring and stopping the gas line and then later it slips out and starts running fine again. Anyone else think this could be the problem? Also a safe way to secure it with out messing up my gas flow? thanks for any and all advice.

I would try a zip tie or two to help secure it somewhere away from the spring. if you can find a spot on the frame to hook to so the zip tie doesn't need to be tight, just snug (or even just hung, but keeping line in the clear) even better. Like a spot in the frame where there's a cross section, or something bolted to it, so the zip tie won't slide down even if just barely snugged around frame+fuel line.

Or find a long flexible spring like used on bowl drains to prevent kinking/ rubbing.
