(This little devil is not gonna get the best of me and hopefully i will get it up and running and returned to his owner by the end of the week end. My friend bought this for her son at the beginning of the summer, and its been poking my brain for a while now. Hopefully it will run good soo that my friend could get some sunshine in her life. She was told this week that her bone cancer had returned. )
Today i did the gasket stuff and got it running. It does not stall anymore, and if i turn it off, it will restart in one kick.
The thing now is thats even if its running, its not really running great. here's a video :

Sounds like it's either rich or has a spark/timing issue. You cane take the snorkel off of the airbox and see if it improves. If so, you prob need to use a smaller main jet.

Do you have a DC powered timing light? If you do hook it up. then tape the trigger switch on and run it through the rough spots and see if it coincides with the flashing, of the timing light.
Don't forget the Cap.
Sounds like a bad sparkplug / plug cap, or faulty ignition.

I think it was the jetting, got it down to 82 and its running ok (not at its best, but i got it up to 60 km/h.
I'll upload a video later on for you to ear it run.
I also swaped the spark plug plug thing ( not the whole coil) with one o had at home. Since its labor day up here in the great white north, i got no way to get a new plug in it, but its getting one tomorrow.
Im gonba put it back together now and return it to an nice 14 years old kid that was patient enough to wait 2 months to finally get his ride.
I'm getting this little thing back for the winter and i'll be redoing it totally. (Crankcase and all the dishes that comes with it ) Up here in Quebec, if your scooter aint a yamaha you aint really got a scooter. (Unless its a ruckus or a 50 to 125/150 swap). So i'll have a very nice pool of used but good performance used parts to make this baby roar I'll post some pictures and a video later on today.

As promessed here is a little video of how it sounds now.
Snorkle was removes from the airbox to compensate for the 82 main jet and the sparkplug cap was change for a more solid one.
