I just noticed my hose is unhooked, and my fuel line at Petcock is pinched. My shop guy must had forgotten to hook up my hose because clamp was loose so it has been like this for 3 days and I've been riding back and forth to work & sometimes it acts like i'm running out of gas, that must be the pinched fuel line (like pinching water hose) but I'm worried about carb damage if any. what should I be looking out for with the hose being unhooked what would it cause?

Is it the vacume line from intake to petcock? Once properly connected/unkinked should be fine. Looks like you should find a new repair guy...

I wouldn't worry about any carb damage. Sounds like your carb isn't getting enough fuel because of the crimped fuel line. The float bowl of the carb fills up at idle but isn't able to keep it at the correct level in order to run correctly. Running lean because of fuel starvation. Straighten the kink out and make sure it's getting a good supply to the carb.
