Definitely a good point Glen. All the bbks I've done came with small end bearings.

Yeah...sadly when a needle bearing goes...those tiny pin bearings scatter and eat up the top end.. Good thing it was not an MHR or Polini kit huh?.. But yes be mindful of bearing size and fit..those little things take a lot of pressure and abuse from the high output of a BBK. Still curious if anybody agrees with my above post..and was looking for input. I may be wrong and I am always hoping to learn and gain insight...so I can provide better service to customers... Glenn Yes I am very glad it wasn't an MHR or Polini kit. I probably would have thrown the scooter into the bay if it was. I order a kit from scrappy dog and the wiseco bearing that Brent suggested and now I'm waiting for them to come in the mail. All flakes and bearing pins are out of the case and the crank is moving freely. Everyday I learn something new about this scoot and am happy I have a wealth of knowledge here on the forum to help me along the way.

Also, check for detonation......this can directly transfer huge shock loads to the wrist pin bearing and kill it....
