Howdy, New member - new to scooters but not so much to tinkering with engines. This forum seems to be gold in terms of community, competence, resources, and more! I bought myself a Tao Tao ATM150 A1 to make my 4 mile commute a bit cheaper ($700 for a car parking permit, $150 for a motorcycle ). Followed most of 90gtvert's awesome PDI video series. I finally got the scoot running pretty well, but I realized something I had missed before - a hose (maybe 3/4" or thereabouts) seems to be disconnected. It runs from what I think is the emissions canister all the way to under the valve cover. There's already a hose connected to the valve cover, but the disconnected hose has a hose clamp on it, which makes me think it should hook up somewhere. I can't for the life of me figure out where it's supposed to be so any help with that would be appreciated! Pics below to help describe what I'm trying to say. Forgot to mention, the engine runs fine with the hose as-is, but I put my thumb up to it while the engine was running and I felt suction. The hose I'm referring to is the one connected to the right side/bottom of the little canister.

Ah I see - I guess the hose clamp threw me off. Great video. For posterity's sake/in case anyone is wondering more about the system, I found this webpage which seems to have some good info all about the various systems on a chinese scoot.
