I've come across this guys ad a few times on CL and I'm thinking of taking a stop by there sometime to scope the place out and see if his prices are fair and all. They can be a good resource in a pinch. Though the only two scooter folks I know of here are me and 2TDave. Here's his ad on Craigslist. Scooter Genie

I'd say give them a try always good to have a shop close by so you don't have to order online all the time. I live about to 2 1/2 hours east from you in the Sunny Highest Crime Area In Florida, Fort Myers. I have two scoot shops near me 1 is expensive but he specializes in Chinese scoots but he will try to find any way to rip you off. The second is actually a Vespa, Aprilia and Piaggio dealer and just happens to carry Chinese scoot parts but Is expensive and they don't like when people work on their own scoots, they want you to let them do it for $130 an hour!

Idk his before and after pics would scare anyone with common sense. Scooters jammed together with oil pans and other miscellaneous crap laying on the floor. Looks really disorganized and an unsafe workplace. If he was my only option I'd be asking for drug test results on any employee that had access to my scooter keys or scooter. :2cents:

I called him a few months back looking for a stock contra spring for a 139qmb when I was tuning my OR. He said he was out on a delivery but would be back later. I went and he said he had a used clutch assembly but must of tossed it but he could order me one. There was no sign, just a bay with clutter and the same crap in the pictures that had been on the ad for months. Plus a golf cart crammed in there. I can get parts next day from partsforscooters so I'll pass.

Finding a decent shop for scooters is hard for me in the city that I live in(Misissauga). There is a Honda/Yamaha power sports shop 5 minutes from my house but scooters aren't really their thing but comes in handy of parts. So I end up having to driving 35 minutes East of me into Toronto to a shop that specializes in scooters and is really good.
