I have been thinking about using a couple fiberglass tent poles and some old tent material to build a cab for the scoot. It does not need sides. Just a windshield and a top. A back isn't required either. It would probably reduce wind resistance also.

Never seen those before.
We did get the C1 with the roof on here. Were not very popular when new, but quite sought after now.
