in my opinion it changed the whole handling on the scooter, especially the rear shock. seems to hug the corners easier, better.. just drifts right thru. i only tested it because i am having a difficult time getting the front brakes bleed. i looked in threads around here. in the how to, but its looking like imma have to disassemble the dash to loosen the lever assy....idk, its getting frustrating this a.m.....lol fluid comes out but cant get the pressure up....any other tricks???..lmao

oh, well the how to works good...lmao.. had to get that plunger pushed all the way in...i got brakes...lmao.. also, i had found a broken wire on my auto bystarer(electonic choke), so i tried fixing it with solder..my solder skills are lacking...lmao.. so i am hoping that corrects my idle/carb issue. did have to upjet again. i am around a 97? jet now....dam i need my technigas pipe back.....lmao....

If no fluid is leaking out, they aren't blown out. Not much to 'em really. Basically there's just a spring and oil inside. The springs could be a different rate or the oil may be different or they may just be a little low. I fill my forks as full as I can get 'em and they are very firm.

i may have to open them up and check the fluid anyway, just to be sure for myself.. will they spring out when you remove that hex bolt?, probably not since they are still small... ?

Keep pressure on the top when you remove it to keep anything from flying off. Make sure the shock is unloaded, so the front needs to be off the ground or the shocks out of the steering stem.

hey man, thanks for posting my pics..i should have the net in home next week. thanks for that info on the forks.. my carb is still acting up at the idle today..cant seem to get a constant idle and to long of a return to idle... my mix screw is at 1 turn out..is it ever ok to go BELOW 1 turn.. at a 1/2 or a 3/4 turn the idle seems to return back normally. the manual says 1+-1/4.... i do have a good plug now, for now anyway...lmao. oh yeah, my float is plastic and the seat also..cant even adjust the float level.

Course, the speedo counts rotations of the wheel. The larger the wheel the less rotations at a given speed.

good evening guys...well, my brake line, etc. had to swap sides, well i guess it kinked up somehow but it cracked and broke a piece of my headlight frame. luckily its on the bottom so you cant really see it..lol.... got another ?. gears... of course malossi is suppose to be the best but i see at vt cycles they are only $50. which numbers would be good. i have heard 16/41 16/42-15/41-15/42? i currently have a 10.5-1 ratio.(turning rear wheel, cluch bell)... i think id like a 8.5-1. heard anyway..lmao....
