Maybe the current grooves show some sign of wear? Good luck!

So I tinkered with it a little today and the TD is indeed angled and from what my untrained eyes can see the grooves dont look to be worn out or anything. I greased it up for good measure and put it back together.. I then tried the PIG trick of taping up my UNI and putting the sleeve back over it, and wow I dropped from a 100 to a 90 MJ and its got more power, still not where I want it, it lags going up hills but I can go a consistent 40 on flats... ..Then I got to thinking... When I had this Malossi sport/ Doppler pipe combo ripping on my old block, was when I had the OKO on there with the intake for the OKO like this www.ebay.com/itm/YAMAHA-BWS-ZUMA-JOG-Riva-27V-Booster-Slider-CW50-Intake-Manifold-6-Reed-Valves-/171115344155?hash=item27d744f11b:g:4qYAAMXQxKxSHfum&vxp=mtrso I now realize that sir PIG is the man and I need to ditch this stock intake at any cost.. Still waiting on the RS1 shock to show up so I can take some measurements and pull the trigger on a better intake.

Hey Birdman I have one of those intakes laying around that you can have. It's missing the reedblock (it broke in two) but a regular horizontal mina one is the same size just gotta drill holes in the corners to work. It's also missing the rubber connecting boot. That's why it's the low low price of free!

Rubber boot is the easy part! I have some hard clear tube I've been running for 2 years. Bought it by the foot home depot cheap.

So this was waiting for me when I got in from work. Now, you know what Ill be doing this weekend then Ill play with intakes and see what I can get to fit and maybe Ill be test fitting some different intake manifolds and see what I can do. I found my old intake and throttle cable I used for the OKO so I may grab another OKO (if the manifold fits) and ditch the Dellorto idea, since Im already invested in a bunch of OKO parts already... We'll see I have some tinkering and thinking to do this weekend

So I had some time (finally) to play with this jog. first off this Malossi shock is a real winner for what it cost. Also, with the Malossi shock on it provided enough clearance to use the Doppler S2R intake. The good news stops there because it still doesnt feel like its a s powerful as it should be. So I will heed PIG s advice and pull the trig on that s6 intake. Besides, i need to keep a little activity on my credit card to keep a good credit score(twisted) Then we'll see how this setup likes this intake. Then after that I may be ordering up a different carby.

Lol. I'm the same way. I pay for everything with my credit card and just pay it off at the end of the month. Usually get enough points a year for a free trip somewhere.

Welp, here it is!! Is this the key to unlock this bike once and for all?! I hope so! I hope it will fit on my funky little set up... After I get this mounted up sometime this weekend hopefully, Ill do some test fitting with carbs. Then Ill either keep what I got now (depending how it runs) or get an OKO or Delloroto.. Then Ill be on to a Malossi OR setup

So I have a question for PIG who has this same intake on his prebug now.. So from what I understand you are using the adapter for the dellorto carb right? So I was just wondering how did you get the bolt here? Or did you just not use that bolt, and put 3 only? So I havent put the intake on the scoot yet but, from what my eyeballing tells me is that it should work no problem... I may even be able to fit the OKO in there.. I was also thinking maybe I could use an intake like this in conjunction with the S6 intake. It would rotate my carb towards the front of the bike which would give me tons of space. scootertuning.ca/en/intakes/4000-intake-manifold-motoforce-21mm.htmlWhat are your thoughts/ input/ advice?
