That won't be fun if that cap fails at 60+. Not sure it is or should be a concern just what popped into my head.

Remember you need a low pressure exit for the air coming out of the radiator

Mmm what's low pressure exi? Is that why this radiator cap/ pipe has two small nipples on it one up at the top and on other a Lil down the pipe?i the top one is for overflow what about the lower one?

If you want to move a lot of air through the radiator, which you do if you expect it to do it's job of transferring heat away from the coolant, then you want to have high pressure in front of the radiator and low pressure behind it. The greater the pressure differential, the more air should move through the radiator. It looks like your radiator may be up against the plastics or very near them from what we can see. You would need to be sure air can move freely at the rear of the radiator. There is more that can be done with shrouds and such for making the most of the air that comes in, but that would require a lot of effort that is probably not necessary.

So I need to add a fan behind it to pull air threw it correct?

Even if you add a fan the air needs somewhere to go so the first thing is to make sure the way it's mounted allows for a good bit of free space behind it. Lots of scoots seem to be using no fans with LC stuff.

OK i get it lol,I will cut the legshiled on the backside and wiremesh it real nicely, bit it does have about 5in of space behind it to the legshield... I'll get a better pic without my front fairing

You may be alright then. It's just hard to know from the pics. If you don't wanna cut the leg shield up then wait till you get it going and monitor the coolant temp. Farther work may be unnecessary. Thinking about this is making me want LC so I could have a sort of leg heater in the winter. lol

Ok yea good point and yea I like the idea of a heater I may just install a fan and cut the leg shield just for that !

I heard a kx 80 radiator will work fine thats what im using on my l.c conversion, still torn between a electric pump and mechanical pump, that radiator in the picture is pretty big and most likely would cool a vw beetle!!!: )

Just mount that joker outside the front of the leg shield! They will say "Whats the deal with this ugly radiator man?" Then you can simply respond "Because BIG EVO!!" with your chin held high
