Strange name 'sunny style'. The name itself doesn't really reveal anything about the shape...thats why I don't get the name. Better call it something that holds information..'sunny style' is like totally random It looked like the Jogs at the beginning of the post.

For spaz12Nothing special, just a simple, short drive.

Right around 4 minutes you make that right turn and then let it rip and got going pretty damn fast. What surprised me was when you came up behind that full sized, white Chevy dually truck that was slammed. It was so big and looked way out of place there in Japan. Damn thing stuck out like a sore thumb. All the steep, scenic hills must be nice to cruise around on. Was awfully nice of you to stop and give us a look of the city below. Made me jealous

spaz12Did you see the pipe condition at the beginning? And around 10:45 that was a decent power take off. And did you see the rice fields just after the chevy scene?

Today on my way home I was going into a right turn up hill and got a bit carried away and took the turn GP-style and that's when it happened. Yes goddamn it, I scraped the pipe! It's about half inch long and wide. As far I can tell the pipe has some sort of coating that probably makes the pipe a bit weather and rust proof now that spot doesn't have that coating anymore. So it could be the start of a catastrophe. I had some high temp black paint that I put on for now and hope that it will act as some sort of new coating. I don't drive the scooter on rainy days so I am not really worry about water getting to it but you know air + humidity can be same bad. You cannot imagine how much this small scar bugs me. And today during work we came by this shop here and I thought I show you guys how a scooter shop looks like here.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Damit man, take it easy! Seriously though, it's bound to happen at some point. Good thing you didn't dent it like Pig did.

It was bound to happen sooner or later. As you said lucky it didn't ended like Pigs pipe. That would have been very painful to see. I do not possess the tools and skills like Pig to get a dent fixed.

Today on my way home from work I went to say hello to the bike shop that gave me the 5BM engine almost 1 year ago which is now mounted on my red Jog. For those of you who forgot here a quick reminder. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/post/203430/threadAnyways, he hasn't seen the finished result before so he was very amazed and more amazed about the Yasuni pipe. He asked me what I had done to the Scooter and I told him it would go faster if I told him what stock parts are left. After a bit of small talk he told me: "you know what would be very nice? Aluminum wheels. The weight cut would help the scoot to accelerate quicker and the wheels would look cool." Me: "yeah if I could find a decent pair I would put them on." He: "I have a pair if you want them." Me: "How much you want for them?" He: "Same like the engine, you remove them their yours." Me: So here we are two aluminum wheels for free. And here his small scrap yard. This is just a small amount of scooters he said. He has more scrap in a stock yard. Now I have a small issue. Those wheels are common on the Jog ZR models but the white wheels are pretty rare I hear. The thing is my red Jog theme is red/black and not white. The other bike shop dude said white looks cool more of a racing look. I can't make up my mind.... I guess I'll clean them once, see if the current paint is still any good then put them on and see. If I don't like it I'll just take them down again and paint them flat black. What you guys think? White? Black? Or any other color?

Sweet! Congrats on the sweet deal!
I have always liked the look of white rims- very racy! but of course, a matter of personal taste...

If I needed to put them on my blue Jog I wouldn't hesitate one second. Blue and white are a no brainer combination. But red and white? The bike shop dude said I should put them on in white and if I don't like it I can always repaint them. But once painted black it is a PITA to go back to white. It does make sense.
