Hi, I have a 2009 Zuma 50 (2-stroke) that I'd like to derestrict. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good guide for doing so? Thanks.

I have not heard of anyone deresticting this zuma. All I have heard about are the newer 4t zuma 50f's that need to deresticted.

The 09 has a carb with a throttle stop and capped air fuel screw and needle with no adjustment slots. Pipe has a cat converter in it. My 08 only lasted 2 days before i removed the restrictions Removing the throttle stop will help a lot. Zuma r us in California has a how to on that as well as Zuma forums. Your bike has a livable gear ratio but one of the guys here left the stock pipe on and didn't see big gains (pipe sucks) my 08 with Leo Vince zx pipe carbon Fibre reeds throttle stop modified stock needle and main jet yellow clutch springs and i think 6 gram rollers will get the front light and gps 42 to 44 mph wide open sitting up. Been running like that for 7 years. Depending on your goals i can make recommendations and get you links to how to and parts. Feel free to send me a message brian
