Looks nice so far. Love the Tritons/clones. I experienced what RnDmoto mentioned when I went to check prices to ship an exhaust and they wanted $60-75 through UPS for a 7-8lb package because of dimensions billed at 30+lbs. I used to ship exhaust stuff to 190mech here and there for around $20-30. Ended up going with USPS Parcel for $16.

niz76, sorry about the slow delivery. At the beginning of the year UPS and Fedex implimented a new shipping cost calculation which includes dimensions as well as weight. This TRIPLED our costs of shipping bulky items like body parts and engines. We couldn't triple the shipping costs to our customers though. That would mean the shipping would have been more than the cost of your side panels. This is a serious bad move on UPS and Fedex's part and we stopped using them and canceled our accounts. We now use OnTrac for western states shipments, and USPS parcel post, which is affordable, but very slow. Sorry if I interjected in your thread. Awesome looking color! That silver, along with the copper colors are my favorite. Love the JOG90 engine too. super sleeper. I'm working on putting a Arctic Cat 500cc two stroke twin snowmobile engine in a little Venice scooter myself. I've got alot of earning a living work in front of it though! Thanks Rickmain! Sorry to gripe about long shipping times- I live literally 20 minutes from a certain supplier and often buy on ebay from sellers in my same state so you can imagine that I've gotten a little spoiled haha. I understand the price hikes on shipping are ridiculous and unfortunately the poop always rolls downhill as they say and you get the short end of the stick there. Always great to see you're here and diligently supporting us, your customers and that goes a long way in my book! Thanks for the compliments on the colors! I just wish the camera would pick up the sparkle from the glitter blast better. These pics really don't do it justice! This scoot just has a 70cc Athena BBK- the 90 is in my own personal "daily driver" Roketa Air An Artic Cat 500cc 2t in a Venice!!! WWhhaaattt?? LMAO We gotta see video of that beast when you get it done! Keep up the great customer support and I'm sure ScrappyDogScooters.com will thrive! Thanks again brother

I tend to avoid places that I've heard shipping horror stories about like Racing Planet and even pay a buck or two extra when shopping on ebay just to buy from sellers in my own state- luckily the scooter life is alive and well here in FL- so yeah I'm spoiled on shipping times I just sent a big ol' box to 190mech- a Home Depot 'large' that weighed 70 lbs! You can actually see the box in the background of the last Triton pic... it cost $65 which I though wasn't too bad considering the weight. The ladies at the UPS store were griping about how heavy it was haha.

don't know about others but when it comes to filling break lines i get the caliper extended out and close the bleeder and slowly compress the piston to push fluid up the line it usually gets enough fluid in and through the lines to where you can hose bleed the breaks to remove the last of the air

OK, I figured I needed to button up this flip thread and call it D-U-N Done! I finished it up a while ago and my buddy and I have been riding the daylights out of these scoots! I do believe this is the most effort I've ever put into one single 'flip scoot'. I'm sure there wasn't any profit after selling the e-scoot that I traded this one for so I kinda consider this one 'pro bono' haha. I did, however charge him $75 for the BBK ;P Sorry buddy I'd do it all pro-bono if I could! It's been running great and the BBK/stock exhaust combo is just perfect for my buddy Jim. I has lots of torque and gets up and moves out fast! I also tuned the CVT and added 1500 RPM yellow clutch springs. He is still getting used to riding a scoot so he pretty much cruises around at half or 3/4 throttle. He's totally thrilled with the way it turned out from the $200 scoot it started out as and I'm happy he's proud of it. Now I have a riding buddy to boot! Here's a before and after shot:

Turned out nice. Always good to have a riding buddy Sent from my SPH-L720 using proboards Just my usual rattle can/ glitter blast (optional) / clearcoat (3 to 4 coats)/ wet sand (1000 or 2000 grit)/ buff (foam buffer on household drill with 'Blue Magic' headlight restoration compound). Pretty easy process and the results look practically professional! I gotta do that darn video soon...
