My Gmw did this turns out the main jet fell out so my 85 main turned into like a 150. :/ Have you had your carb apart yet? Only thing I can think of is that somehow the ACV has some grit in there that's causing the problem. I never had any luck cleaning the ACV and it's related passages before but you might. That's easy to clean man let everything soak in vinegar over night then all the hard crap that's in all the little passages will soften up enough that carb cleaner and some air pressure will get you going again.

The part pictured is the first thing I took a part because I had to repair that once so it was the first thing I went to

Thank You Brent I ended up taking the carb apart and the valves out and doing everything and putting it all back together just like it was with everything reset back to what it was supposed to be and at some point I apparently fixed the issue. its been running well all day so I'm going to take those links and write them down so I'll have them but I believe I am fixed up for now crossing fingers it's been running well today.

I don't know what happened but I killed it. I mean bad. I mean I'm certain the connecting rod snapped in half. I'll know more tomorrow. I was coming up The mtn wide open up Hill Around turns for almost 2 full minutes And right about the top it snapped and cut off. When I took the side Case off to see if I snapped the variation belt I was able To freely Rotate the crank pulley 1 turn except It Would Catch and knock as it passed tdc like the connecting rod was coming back and smacking the piston at the wrist pin.

Ok best place for parts? And should I be able to just replace a few small parts without a full rebuild kit? Finally where's the cheapest rebuilt kit at? I want to get it running and sell it. I have a motorcycle that needs mY attention more than this scooter.

So I was riding for about an hour and a half last night. I had two people on the scooter the whole time. Ran about 45 mph most of the time. Came up the mountain twice. riding 2 up. (really can't say enough about the power this thing has, drags 300+ lbs around like it is nothing uphill). Last time I came up I came up alone and had the throttle buried the entire 2 minutes up the mountain. Ran an indicated 53 mph the entire time around the corners constantly uphill. Around the last 1000 feet it started feeling like it was getting a little bit slower and I figured it was getting hot. I backed off it for about 800 feet and gunned it again. I got another 500 yards and it snapped and shut off. Looking at the damage it looks like the head gave out and pushed through the piston? So my cam looks good, Just need the rest of the top end kit.
