It costs money to keep a forum online.
Not only that, it takes time. Time that could be spent MAKING money.
Brent ALWAYS takes the time to help everyone. He's really dedicated. Show some return appreciation.
I have donated to this forum twice since I joined a few months ago. I'm NOT rich by ANY stretch.
If you have obtained useful help here why not help out a little?
How much would it cost you to hire someone to give you this much advice?
If times are hard.....even $5.00
If you spend a lot of time here, you really should consider helping now and then.
Everybody things someone else will do it.....and noone helps.
Stop putting off and show your appreciation and help keep this site going.

I posted a similar thread years ago and got a few people to say good things etc... but mostly all I got was crickets chirping. I prolly dropped somewhere between 2 and 3 hundred into Brents pay-pal acct. over the years cause on more than a few occasions I actually got paid real money fixing scooters that I needed advice on and I got it here. I threw up a 12V impact for a contest prize once and just like the last contest the new member registration was up and the members that usually just lurk logged in to guess. Most folks either don't realize or don't care how hard Brent has worked to make this forum what it is. I remember when there was only the basic set of smileys you could use and one day I made a thread titled "More Smileys!" and Brent added them little by little. I take credit for requesting that these three be added:    Back then there were few if any videos. The tech section was text/read and pictures mainly. It's a great site. If everybody gave $5 a month I betcha there would be a contest every month for some cool sh*t. I haven't made a donation for a long time but I will. |

I just thought of an idea. Maybe we can have a little thing by our avatar that says we donated that lasts for X-amount of time (like 6 months or whatever) and then disappears. That way we can show our support publicly and shame others into donating. Thoughts?  Or how about this: For a $20 donation Brent will dump a bucket of ice water on himself and post the video on youtube. For a $30 donation Brent will eat a bug on camera.  |

I just dropped $200 on new rotors and top of the line pads for the work van so it'll be a few weeks til I can donate anything.

I must refuse the Brent does this at X dollars vids. I'll make scooter vids because it's what I'm into, but I really do hate being on camera. Maybe I can make someone else eat a bug and film that. Carry a bucket of water and douse someone that laughs at the fat dude on the little scoot? lol I would do that and enjoy it, but the way stuff is today that's prob like 1st degree premeditated liquid assault and they'd crush my scooter with me on it.
