However octane ratings are regularly checked for accuracy by the bureau for weights and measures of your state.

Premium and regular fuel octane number is blended for the altitude (atmospheric pressure) by the local distributors. If you need more octane than what is delivered by the local pumps then your engine must be set up for racing since it has more compression than a daily driver vehicle should have. Some people have 'special' fuel supplies they have adapted to though.

I use 93 from Wawa or Racetrack, Hess and 7 eleven gas sucks for me makes my scooter run slower than what it is and I'm still stock having done any upgrades yet but there coming soon.

Yes I have. Did not notice much difference and I use on the family car every oil change.
