Doesn't watch speed as it doesn't track geographicaly. Their FAQ says nothing about speed either, but they would be able to if they wanted to. Their setup may or may not access that info, but I wouldn't speed for those 6 months. GPS is not necessary since their device plugs into an OBDII port and could potentially monitor the vehicle speed sensor.

She was told that the average drop is 10%, and that that they would not give a higher rate based on the thing.

Thing is it could track how fast she drives, just not what the speed limit is where she is driving. I imagine some day with GPS what it is, that could be something that will be standard in the future, bwa ha ha.

Yeah, true. I just tend to think of how I drive from time to time. They probably know the speed limit is never over 100. lol Either way, now I know to say NO if Progressive ever offers this to me.
