BBK Options and Tips

Hey guys,
Soon I will be buying a 70 BBK and a 21mm PHBG for my mina
I also want to keep oil injection, No premix.
I want to ask some questions before I buy anything.
BBK:
I've been looking at the Malossi Cast iron 70, Seen it in action with a 21mm PHBG and it goes well

I've also found this one which is ~70 dollars cheaper

Will I definitely see and reliability/performance increase for spending the extra?
its really hard to tell with the limited info they give.

Carby:
I'll be leaning towards the 21mm PHBG.
Malossi sells the entire kit+plus choke cable for 200 bucks
The malossi model does not come with oil injection. (BS model)

My remedy for this is to buy all the choke and other parts sent with the malossi carby kit apart from the actual carburettor and buy the oil injected version straight from dell'orto (DS model)

Is there anything I'm missing?
Does the stock side mounted airbox fit the PHBG? 
On the malossi website it says "to be assembled EXCLUSIVELY with MALOSSI EXHAUST SYSTEMS" will my ZX fit?
Would it be easier to spend the extra, get the malossi carby and buy a new intake manifold that I can switch the injection into?
Any other things I should know about?
Sorry for the influx of information but I really want to get everything right

personally I'd go for the taiwan one, it's possible it's even a clone of the malossi cast iron

Also, are there any problems with the Replica or clone Dell'orto carbies you see on eBay?

Sorry just got to reading your post.

I've got a carb I got for $20 on ebay some walbro clone.

Honestly really impressed at the casting and quality, It's given me zero problems.

A carb is a really simple thing and REALLY hard to mess up manufacturing.

I've always been pleased with the kits from Autotech355/Motoritec. My 70cc spare engine has one of their cylinders on it. Nothing special, but it's been reliable and I really don't expect a sport kit to be anything too special. They're just good daily rider capable kits that don't require tons of other upgrades to work well. There's room for improvement with port work and so on if you eventually feel it's necessary.

I've got 3 DellOrto PHBG carbs, 2 black 21mms and 1 standard 19mm. All are good carbs. I normally use the 21mm, but 19mm works just fine for a sport 70cc too. I only use a remote choke if I can't reach it any other way. Had to use a S6 remote lever on my Venus and it worked great. Check out treatland.tv for Dells and parts for them.

I have never used the Dell clones. I have heard some here say they work well. I also recall a member saying they bought a clone and never could get it right so they were going to buy a genuine DellOrto.

I use stock intake and airbox with my PHBGs. 36 or 38mm air filter adapter will work, though 36mm is the better fit. The stock intake may have a sort of restriction inside that you can grind out before using a bigger carb. I showed that here :

Not sure what exactly some of that is, but I don't see a main jet kit that you'll need to tune the carb.

If you go for a PHBG carb and you want to use it on a 2 stroke make sure it has the AU bushing and AU atomizer. If it doesn't have those pre-installed then get them at treatland.tv for example. You can use the carb with the 4stroke stuff but you might have trouble tuning the carb in the low range.

I've got both genuine and clone phbg carbs. You can get a clone race off of eBay for 25 to $30. The clones aren't quite as nicely finished but are fine for the money. Someone here spaz, corrosion, etc I can't remember off the top of my head had the setup figured out. New what the clones came with four parts and what needed to be changed to get them to work great. Even with changing parts the clones were cheeper. Hopefully they will chime in and give you their wisdom on phbg tuning

GET THE MALOSSI if you go to scooterpartsco.com they have the Kit# you need for $119.00 and they ship flat rate $7.99 no matter what you get. This is where I get all my Malossi cuz they have best prices of anywhere.
