Howdy ya'll. Scooter commuter from NC. I live in the triangle area. I do motoVlogs and cookingVlogs on my youtube channel - BattleKoozie. I get 110 mpg there abouts. My Toyota Mr2 Spyder has a massive coolant leak, yet again, so it has been garaged for a year. I bought a 2014 Aprilia SR50 Motard, this thing sucks (other than 110 mpg). Brand new, with 1 year warranty. The whole harness died on it, the exhaust broke off mid drive unexpectedly and there are no parts in the USA for these scooters. It has been in the shop almost a total of 4 months out of 8 so far of ownership. If anyone has some connections let me know! oh and check out my youtube Cheers! -BattleKoozie

I'm surprised to hear about an Aprilia having that much trouble. Hopefully the "bugs" will get worked out before that warranty ends.

Ask the dealer if they will extend the warranty due to the fact that you haven't been able to ride it for 1/2 of the warranty period.

I've tried contacting them multiple times through different avenues. They haven't responded in 3 months. I just don't think Aprilia is the same in the USA as it is in Europe. :\

That sounds bad. The Aprilia dealers here are not too bad.

Ya, Piaggio is not an authorized dealer for Aprilia. They do share a lot of the same parts but are still difficult to get a hold of.
