i just bought my first moped used but its a 2008 roketac-78-150 its fast fun only thing is it starts goes quick but everytime i come to a stop if i let go of throttle it dies how do i fix and also not sure if this has anything to do with it but theres a hose not conected dont know y or where it goes some one help please

Perhaps it just needs the tick over speed increasing. Its in the middle of the carb, the one that sticks out  |

k so would i turn it left or right and how far do i turn it and would u happin to to bout the hose wat it is where it goes

the hose is on when ur on the scooter it would be left side

Pics would be helpful for the hose. You'd turn the idle speed screw (or tick over as shown above) clockwise to increase idle speed. On a four-stroke the speed screw is on a bracket and has a spring under as you can see in the top right of this pic. Usually idle is set to something like 1800-2000RPM.  Welcome to the forum. Please don't make multiple threads asking the same question. In the future, choose the most appropriate section and create 1 thread there about your issue. |

That looks like the gearbox breather/overflow hose. In most cases,it is not meant to be plugged in to anything.

k thanks and do u know y i still die out when i stop unless i hold the throttle i used to shake but after adjusting the tick idle screw i think thats wat it was called like some one told me it stop shaking alot and no longer have to twist throttle all the way but it dies still

i just want to thank you guys for all your help so far and and want to apologize again for the all the trouble i didnt know any of the rules what to do what not to do but now i do it wont happen again thanks again and i came across a couple more problems now my battery wont stay charged if i leave it sitting for a couple hours its complety dead i charged it for a while it i thought it was good becouse lights wre bright started up quick and lasted for half the day evry hour or 2 i would go and check it and started up but now again keeps dying and now my head light dont come on i put the high beams on nothing all other lights fine blinkers horn and the little light but not the other  k the light on top works but the big one on bottom dont |

Brent did a good video on checking your charging system if you have a multi meter.
Checking your battery
Sounds like your headlight bulb might of gone.

Could be the batt or could be a draw on the system. You could try disconnecting the battery and seeing if it still is weak after a while. If so, it's the batt or at least you should check the batt. If not, something is taking power even while your scoot is off.
If the headlight isn't coming on when the engine isn't running, that's normal for most scoots. If it's not coming on when the engine is running, there's a problem.

k i checked the fuses by the battery and when i did the lil metal pieces that hold the fuses basically fell off so i replaced them and it starts up good now but i do need a battery and i took the bulb for the headlight out it looked good to me but when i took it to auto store he thought it was also then he realized that i do need a new one cuz i geuss it np good so i got that on way to get new battery and thanks to all you guys im starting to get it now shaking is gone i still have to give it throttle but not so much i can almost come to complete stop thank you for all your help

k so i replaced the bulb it worked for a lil while now its off again went tonight as i was driving home and half way home it flicked on for a second but nothing any more i dont have a multi meter is there any other fuses besides the ones where the battery is that i can check

Usually the only fuse or fuses are right by the batt on these small Chinese scoots. I'd go over all connections and the bulb sockets as well. Verify that you have good engine and frame grounds.
