Forks should be fitted on Weds. I've done a temp fix using a brass bracket for now. Used the scoot to get to college for the first time in 3 weeks - I'd forgotten what being able to kit up and travel 11 miles in 15mins was like! Was hitting low 70's on a winding B road that I know like the back of my hand. I've decided to go for a S6 R1200, I really fancy the extra 3hp Should have it by the weekend, I'll take it down to the dyno then and see what she's got. Next stop - ported cylinder, modded crank case and a full circle crank! It's 20HP or bust For comparison, 20HP is a fully tuned 180cc Runner and about the limit for road use. Come on then John, what measurements do you want off the S6

That's a damn nice looking scooter Ish. I don't think they sell those over here. Or at least I haven't seen one.

The closest relative you can get is the fuel injected Aprilia SR50, made by the same company but in a completely different league. Very difficult to tune. I do know of one 183cc that someone your side of the pond imported.

I think you need to invest in a GoPro Luke. 70MPH on a twisty road on a scoot is something I'd love to see. I'm still hoping to hit 70MPH tucked on a flat. lol Hell, I;d be happy at this point if I just saw 70MPH with a tailwind or anything.

The power of LC, 12000 RPM and super high compression ;D I calculated my UCCR (uncorrected compression ratio). It's somewhere in the region of 16:1 The problem with the go-pro is that it's about as much as a Stage6 R1200, and I know what I'd rather have I'll see if I can find something a little cheaper.

Did some testing trying to eliminate a 10k rpm stumble today. I suspect it has something to do with the ignition curve, I know that the variable CDI reaches full advance at 10k.
Put the old CDI back in, ran like crap throughout the rev range, not just round 10k. I swapped the variable one back in, and hopefully it will return to normal :scared:
Will find out shortly. I'll try a new plug, too.
