Hey... they've got pipes just hanging around in shops over there. What are the chances of you taking a measuring tape along? lol

Looks like a good upgrade, but that's an awfully nice pipe to scrap. Sure it's not something that could be mended? If it's just banged in you might be able to fill it up with water and freeze it to get the dents out. Aye, I probably could. The muffler is knackered, so that's an extra £60. For simplicity's sake i'm getting a new one, I just don't have the time. Plus it's a good excuse to gain a few horses Did some fiberglass, epoxy and general repairs today. Attachments:

I'm not looking at what I thought it was. lol I thought it was an engine shroud at first. Be worried if it was It's a ''wheel box'' Goes behind and above the wheel. The bit with the fibreglass on sits inside the panels, so you won't be able to see it I've decided (for now) to try and de-dent the C16. That way, if I do get a R1200 I can sell it. It's in the freezer now - I think I'll be murdered if it's found

lol, That S6 pipe rocks! Ive seen that puppy in action on a piggy, and they went "wee, weee, weee" all the way home! I'm still umming and arring about it. Dent is still there after a night in the deep freeze, it's gone back in with more water for another go. I've ordered the rest of the panels, $100 :jaw: It's only a mudguard and some screws!

Dent gone, just the scratches to deal with now I've repaired the broken mudguard brackets with metal Epoxy - the problem is that one of them is wonky and now I can't get it back off. Least I know it isn't about to fall off on me!

The bulbs arrived today ;D However, I've just been told that the body panels will be at least another week Bulb comparison: Fork ''fix'' - hey, it works! C16 exhaust stub, cleaned up. I think I'll oil black it, somewhat of a dying art.

You gotta show us a full pic of this thing when it's done... a big one, not the little avatar. lol Every part of the scooter I see is really badass (the wheel caught my eye this time), so I need to see the whole thing.

Could be some time at this rate. It'll also be missing the stickers on the side of the belly pan when I'm done I've been in contact with Bram from scoot invasion about getting my S6 racing ported up. There's plenty of gains yet to be had from this puppy.

Did some performance modifications today The reed block and intake don't match up, one's round and the other rectangular. First I thought I would just remove the lip that the air would collide with. Then I thought ''sod it'' and broke out the metal epoxy. I'll post a pic when it's all sanded down and matching. I've also painted up the exhaust and end can, as both were scratched up. Will post a pic when it's back together. Tore down the top end too, as I had a new small end bearing for it. Removed what little carbon there was. I'm still not entirely sure what's going on with the port matching and flowing, I should have a better idea Monday. I may just give up waiting and match it myself, Bram (Big B NRG) says there's not much gain to be had from flowing these, unless you go OTT with the dremel and JB weld.

Cool idea. Are you going to blend the transition into the cage at the corners and such or just making it match? Sorry, it's hard to tell from the pic if you're making a round lip or something more 3D so to speak. If you can get it blended in it might really make a difference.

I'm going for a gradual as possible slope down to the reed window. I've done the first shaping, I've just got to wait for the final layer to cure then I can finish it up with 400 grit.
I've been using a chainsaw file to shape it, much more accurate than a rotary tool.
