Man its COLD around here!!!! Been -degrees all week. I rode my scoot to a buddy,s about a mile from here and that was plenty far enough! I need a new battery (my fault) for my Cobra but it seems to run very well even in the very cold. :riding: Hows everybody else,s winter rides faring lately?

I haven't really rode for a few weeks now. I did it for a bit, but then I just started missing nice weather and going out in clothing that actually allows me to move and use my hands properly. We had some days in the 40's and even one 55 degree day, but it's usually 20-30 degrees when I can get out for a decent ride at night and half the time the wind is 20MPH. When I ride at night I usually like to be out for at least an hour, so that's pretty cold. Not like some of your temps, but when it hurts to ride it's cold enough. Soon it will be spring though. Shortly after that summer will come and I'll start complaining about how it's too hot to ride in the daytime. As much as I hate winter temps, I don't miss the ultra high humidity 90-100 degree summer we had last year. I still remember riding on the SunL and passing a temp sign at a bank one night. It was around 1AM and still almost 90 degrees with something like 80% humidity. Come to think of it though, even being sweaty and kinda miserable... my hands didn't ache and I didn't have 10 layers on. lol

I'm the same as Goosey. That, and I'd rather not let the tons of salt they use corrode my rims and engine No seriously though... It's kind of sad when you have a asphalt road that was paved in fall, and was a nice shimmery black, and now it looks like concrete because of all the salt.

Wow i was gonna complain till i looked at those pics.
Two Saturdays ago Vince and i did a 180 mile ride, then by tuesday we were under about a foot of snow. Still around so even though it will be 45 on Sunday the roads will probably still be a mess.
