If you go down to South Central Los Angeles you see guys riding them on the street. They are illegal but they don't give a F#*% down there. That scooter shop I worked at down there for a minute sold SSR pit bikes. Guys would ride them to the shop. I got to test a few and they are peppy as hell. They go from a 50cc all the way to a 160cc. Wheelie machines they are. Here's their whole line of pit bikes www.ssrmotorsports.com/store/pitbike/pitbike-index.php

The story you just told reminded me of these people that lived on the next block over from my parents in Florida.... They would take their air boats up and down the street! Imagine the sound that made?!
Truly crazy rednecks

They are really fun to ride but they aren't that great. You ride them off road and jump them enough and they break down. They also have these cheap bushings in the swing arms and the chains are cheap and get stretched out real quick and they have a cheap ass chain tensioner pulley and a plastic piece that you have to keep replacing on top of the swing arm pivot. The tensioner spring would get weak so the chain would fall off it and bend the sh*t out of it.

I like the green one as it has a bit of a military look to it. It looks as if these might be shift bikes? (Like the old Z's were) I see a green Neutral light on the dash. If they sell these I'll bet they cost more than a larger motorcycle. My guess is, $3,500-4,500. What do you guys think? Really nice bikes though, I hope they make them. Bill

In theory it should cost about the same as the normal Grom as it uses most of the same parts

Maybe I should write to Honda and volunteer my services? If they give me one, I will test it for 1 year and be honest about how it rides. Then, after the test period, I can buy it for $50.00. Sounds good to me, ha ha.

Well, If I were Honda, I would want as many of us on this forum that they could get. I mean, how could they do better than that? Of course they should at least start with Brent.

I think Brent would be tuning it way before a year was up
