Thinking about going with a 5" stretch. Any one think that it will still handle ok with the stretch that far out?
Also thinking about getting a piece of pipe that is 14" long and use it as handle bars. Any thoughts?

Looks like a cool project. The handlebars depend on where you'll be sitting and what's comfy for you. I hope you meant 24" pipe, not 14" for the bars. At 14" your hands won't fit on there with controls etc... and even if thy would the steering would feel weird. Not sure about the stretch. I've never rode one that's really stretched out, so I've wondered the same thing. I know a couple of our members have stretched their scoots, so hopefully someone can chime in on that. i did a 9" stetch on my drag scoot and just the few times i've had it out trying to tune it, it seems to handle ok. actually rides a little better than i thought it would, even with the solid strut. the only real downfall to a stretch IMO is if you have to make a "U"turn, it feals like it takes forever to complete. other than that i love the stretch on mine.

Been working on the little bugger for the last few days. Im just about done with the frame work except for the engine mounts getting welded on.
Hopefully this weekend Ill get the front end lowered and the frame work done except for the mounts.

Its starting as a 50 Brent, hopefully he'll make it a 90. I'd like to see what a 90 would do for that little Ruck clone.

I got a Malossi Cast Iron kit in my garage but I need a piston for it. But Im thinking Ill end up going with something else. Then probably a Technigas Exhasut. 21mm Delotro, Clutch, Variator, Athena upgear. Make her a screamer!

Its already got a 10.13:1 final gear in it workdog. I just cut and put a new gasket in it for the gearcase, thats how I know what it is. I was gonna use them for my drag scoot but they are to tall for the 1/8 mile track. And they look like new, no ploay in the seals or bearings at all. Its a longcase also.
