This winter when I tear it down to check things over I’ll probably switch from the 9-1 gear ratio back to 11-1. I’ve even been thinking about going to the stock gear ratio witch I think was 13-1ish. I never use the 85mph top speed, 0-60 mph is more important where I ride it.

It should still do 70 something (mph) if you go back to 11 to 1?
With original gears, seems like any throttle blip would put you on your ass lol
What gears were you running when you had the tpr 86cc kit on?

With original gears, seems like any throttle blip would put you on your ass lol What gears were you running when you had the tpr 86cc kit on? With the 11-1’s and the Bidalot 86 it would do 80. So with this motor I’d guess 82ish maybe more. I’ve still never had it to it’s top speed with the S6 95cc. I’m guessing I could get 86-87mph out of it. But I just don’t feel the need to do it anymore. I think I tried both sets of gears in the TPR. Edit. I just looked back at some videos, and the Bidalot did 78mph with 11-1’s. So the S6 95 will do a touch over 80 I’d think. Plenty fast

Don't really have recommendations. Like you said, lot's of (great) companies out there. A lot of them just use copies from somebodies master tune though...gotta find out who designed that.
Also be careful with warming up the engine. The turbo is mounted in front of the engine and all high up almost as high as the valve cover and it takes time to get nice hot oil up there. They fail prematurely if engine is not warmed up properly. Did you know those r56's don't have a bmw motor but one from Peugeot!?

Picked up a used set of John Cooper Works wheels with studded winter tires for smoking deal, $500!!! Wheels are pretty much mint and the tires have like 90% tread life. Also had the rear windows tinted. I’m in love with this thing. If you like driving get behind the wheel of a turbo’d mini.
