I really wanted red but the panels required too much work, and even then I don't think that they would look good. Besides, I think the white looks pretty good and came out better than expected.

I sanded it, washed it off and then painted it. What kind of sand paper? My exhaust is starting to build up a lot of rust and would love to clean it up! Um, a couple different kinds and grits. I used one of those sanding sponges, some from an orbital and some from a belt sander (all by hand) I honestly can't remember the grits though. Maybe 600 and 300? It was pretty rough paper. I used Krylon high temperature paint.

You'll have that thing looking sharp in no time flat. Looking around down here in Mexico, the market is dominated by Italika now days. No BWS 100's to be found, so far... How's that vacation going? Hope that you're having a blast! So far so good. The $50 a night condo is way nicer than I would have expected. Headed out to one of my favorite breakfast spots now. Probably won't bring any scooter parts back unless I find something I have to have. My wife totally veto' me taking apart a BWS100 and trying to cram it in two suitcases although I think it might have worked. She puts up with a lot of scooter stuff at home and my frivolous spending habits. When my Stage 6 Pro Rep showed up Thursday I got the hands and the hips stance and a "really?". Maybe I can rent a scooter for the day and ride a little. Not many 50's here. Most are bigger.

The key, with any of the high temp finishes, especially those that are ceramic based is to properly cure them. We're guys, we don't need directions lol but they're for a reason.
