Missy before she moved in use to lay on my bed till I came in the room and would rush out but since moving in only comes in to meow and goes out again. Sleeps in the living room now. |

After taking Missy for a check up to the vets we finally had the money to pay for 4 teeth to come out and her bloods checked which they like to do on older cat's and being a stray we took in a while ago best to have it done. She hates going in a cage then the car really stress her out so teeth done in two stages and then back in briefly Friday as she got an infection which stank. Funny thing is she now comes and sits on the bed with me which has never done before when I in it. May have one more appointment tomorrow but hopefully when speak to vets in morning I might not have to. Vet is now £700 better off, prices have certainly gone up over the years ☺️   |

Every one of my tortie cats has had bad teeth. The vets had a name for it, something like garbage can septicemia or something. None of my other cats have had teeth problems.

I don't think it is the cat food since none of my other cats have the problem but my torties did in the 70's 80's 90's and 200x. My Ex and I had 2-4 cats during all that period with usually one being a tortie in the 76 through 2000's.
